2nd Annual Old North State Skirmish
	Iredell Blues
	August 13th - 15th, 2004

Well, all reports I have received from the troops that made it to Statesville have been nothing but *GLOWING*! The Iredell Blues pulled out all the stops not only in the hosting and preparation department, but in the feast presentation department as well. Saturday evening's venison barbecue has been hailed by all as one of the finer meals ever served up at a Regional Skirmish anywhere.

I'm still awaiting results on Individual awards. I understand The Bunnies got several. And speaking of awards, if it was a team match anywhere during the weekend, we came in 1st Place by a handsome margin, and B Carbine and B Pistol came in 2nd place overall! Even the Mortar match went our way, with a 50-something foot group! Not a personal record for Dave and crew (I don't think) but very respectable nonetheless.

I have updated the stats for the Team Matches, and they're worth checking out. Dave tried his best to break my 12-pigeon record off of a Statesville Musket Pigeon Board. I wish for better luck next time... I know I'll need it!!

Great shooting guys... let's see if we can make this the norm for the balance of the shooting season!
